Leah is a passionate physiotherapist who was drawn to the field of physiotherapy with an
eagerness to help people recover from their injuries, achieve their goals, and improve their
quality of life. Leah graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Science in
Human Kinetics, and went on to obtain her Master’s of Health Science in Physiotherapy.
Since graduating, she has gained experience working in both private and public settings,
and is currently working at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital. Her role ranges from seeing
patients in stroke rehabilitation and acute care, to those with orthopedic conditions such as
post-surgical patients, patients who have chronic injuries, and other neurological conditions.
She has a special interest in helping those with neurological impairments, and is now
expanding her role to see patients in their own homes. Leah has a warm and
compassionate attitude, and believes in fostering functional recovery by promoting
independence in everyday activities
