Rasha Izz is a Registered Physiotherapist with a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy and MPH Concentration Health Economics from Palestine. She continued her physiotherapy education in Ontario at the Internationally Educated Physical Therapy Bridging Program (OIEPB), University of Toronto, and graduated in 2018.
She has been managing and treating individuals with neurological disorders and developmental delays since 2006. Additionally, she has developed competent practice in musculoskeletal, geriatric, cardiopulmonary, and carried out pertinent care in acute, rehab and community settings, where she motivates patients to reach their maximum potentials and highest level of functional mobilities. She can provide services in both English and Arabic languages.
Rasha holds a post graduate education in neuro Pilates, Pediatric NDT, Bobath: Assessment and Treatment of Adults with Neurological Conditions, acupuncture/dry needling, FMT Pediatric Rock Taping, Motor Outcome Measures for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Move for Rehabilitation, Manual therapy, Myndmove Therapy, Aqua therapy, Concussion Management and Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation. Moreover, she has an interest in research and published in THE LANCET Public Health. For her, physiotherapy is not just a career, it is a passion and mission to create a better life for others.
Outside of work, Rasha enjoys Cycling, rock climbing, Camping, stand up paddling and Spending quality time with Family and Friends.
