Sam Jumbo

Samuel Jumbo is a Registered Physiotherapist licensed with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, providing compassionate, evidence-based physiotherapy services to clients throughout London, St. Thomas, and surrounding communities.

Samuel has extensive clinical experience across home care, outpatient orthopaedic practice, acute care hospitals, rehabilitation, and long-term care settings. His diverse background enables him to assess and treat individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and age-related conditions. He is committed to helping clients restore function, improve mobility, manage pain, and maintain independence in their own homes.

Throughout his career, Samuel has treated clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, fractures, joint replacements, strokes, respiratory illnesses, and prolonged hospitalizations. He has also worked extensively with older adults experiencing balance impairment, falls, frailty, arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, chronic pain, and progressive mobility decline.

His clinical expertise includes orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary physiotherapy, balance and falls prevention, gait assessment and training, strength and conditioning, manual therapy, pain management, mobility and home safety assessments, transfer training, and assistive device prescription.

Samuel believes rehabilitation should be individualized, goal-oriented, and meaningful. He takes the time to understand each client’s goals, challenges, and lifestyle before developing personalized treatment plans that help them regain confidence, improve physical function, and remain safely independent at home. He works collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, nurses, caregivers, and family members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

In addition to his clinical practice, Samuel has served as a clinical instructor, mentoring physiotherapy students during their hospital placements while maintaining a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development. Whether helping someone recover following a motor vehicle accident, surgery, hospitalization, or illness, or assisting an older adult to improve balance and mobility, Samuel is passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based physiotherapy that empowers clients to achieve their goals and enjoy a better quality of life.
